The Riverside Grill in Hood River was voted restaurant with an “Outstanding Oregon Wine List” in Wine Press Northwest’s fall edition.

The wine list competition included restaurants throughout the Northwest, praising list makers for outstanding Northwest, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia wine lists.

The Riverside Grill earned its accolades for featuring Columbia Gorge wines on both sides of the Gorge at “inviting” prices.

Ten restaurants made the “Outstanding Northwest Wines” list, while five separate lists were noteworthy for individual states or provinces. Fourteen restaurants made the “Outstanding Oregon Wine List.” The Riverside Grill shared prominence with such restaurants as Lucier, The Heathman, and Wildwood in Portland, plus Bistro Maison in McMinnville and The Dundee Bistro in Dundee. That state of Washington had the most outstanding state wine list winners at 18, including Campbell’s in Chelan, 26brix in Walla Walla, and Portfolio in Seattle.
